New Apple iPad ‘will be thinner and feature camera’
The new, more compact iPad could be on sale by June next year, said analysts at the firm. It will feature the same 9.7in display, but will be thinner and lighter, and feature a built-in camera for FaceTime video calls as well as a mini USB drive, wrote Henry King and Kevin Lu in a report for the firm.
Apple’s touch-screen, tablet-style computer has proved hugely popular with consumers, with three million iPads snapped up in the 80 days after its April launch.
