Huawei Unveils Their New 7-inch Android Honeycomb Tablet At CommunicAsia

The Huawei MediaPad tablet which was teased twice last week has been officially unveiled today in Singapore before the CommunicAsia 2011 trade show. The new tablet looks just like the teasers images and videos lead us to believe it would look but their were some surprises announced by Huawei today.

The 7-inch tablet runs on Google’s Android Honeycomb operating systems for tablets but not the Android 3.0 and 3.1 versions we’ve seen before but an altered version dubbed Android 3.2. With Android 3.2 Huawei claims there have been alterations made to the recent Android 3.1 release which allow the operating system to play nice with a 7-inch tablet.
