New Google Android 2.2 Lets You Talk To A TV & A Camera

Codenamed Froyo, the new software, will be up to five times faster when running apps and three times faster at browsing. It includes improved support for Flash and HTML 5 as well a new feature that lets users use the camera and voice recognition in the browser.

HTC, the manufacturer or the most popular Google Android smartphones available today has announced that the majority of its handsets will be getting upgraded to the latest version of Google’s OS, Android 2.2.

HTC has said that many of its smartphones will be updated to Android 2.2 by the end of 2010, although it looks like the handsets which will get Android 2.2 first are the new ones that have been released this year.. Read more [ via smarthouse]
