Game News Round-up: Ms. Dishonored Hunter

Now E3’s over (long gone, in fact) game news slows down somewhat deep into the proper summer lull until things begin to heat up again in maybe… September? October time? Oh well, whatever it is, we’ve got some news to share, anyway.

– Twisted Pixel’s sequel to Splosion Man, Ms. Splosion Man, is out today, and costs a mere 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live and features 50 single-player levels, a separate 50 level multiplayer campaign and a “host” of new gameplay and features like ghost leaderboards, new mechanics, new bosses, extra gameplay modes, and “tons” of unlockable content.

– Bethesda Softworks has announced a new title, Dishonored, a new first-person action game being developed by Arkane Studios and under the direction of Raphael Colantonio, lead designer on Arx Fatalis, and Harvey Smith, lead designer on Deus Ex. There are few details of the game yet, but it’ll be coming out for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2012.

– Turn 10 has announced details of the Forza Motorsport 4 Limited Collector’s Edition (which’ll cost $79.99): it’ll feature an additional 25 cars from exclusive car packs and bonus car offers. In particular, the title will include the 2012 BMW M5, the most powerful production sedan ever created by BMW’s M division and which will be featured on the cover of the Forza Motorsport 4 Limited Collector’s Edition. The 2012 BMW M5 will be available as part of the BMW M5 Fan Pack, and apparently, “with the BMW M5, fans will be able to experience Autovista mode, where Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson takes fans on a virtual tour of the world’s most sought-after cars.” So that’s something to look forward to, then… Read More [via futureshop]
