Call me old-fashioned, but I’m still rather attached to physical keyboards. Tablets and smartphones might be fun for a little touchscreen tomfoolery, but when there’s work to be done I want a real keyboard at my fingertips rather than an onscreen facsimile. Bashing out more than a quick email on an onscreen keyboard is slow going.

It’s not that I’ve got anything against tablets, they’ve certainly got their place. It’s just that if I’m going to spend that kind of money on a gadget it really needs to be more than a toy.
